Brave Presenting Sponsor for Bitcoin Tuesday – Giving Tuesday for Crypto by The Giving Block
For the first time ever, there will be a concentrated effort around the world’s largest traditional day of giving, Giving Tuesday, to rally the crypto community around a day of giving. Bitcoin Tuesday is Giving Tuesday, for cryptocurrencies and utility tokens.
With 25 days to go until December 3rd, Brave has once again shown their generosity, and emphasized the importance of spreading new, innovative contribution options for charities. Nonprofits have major followings, and this Giving Tuesday, 100+ nonprofits will be fundraising cryptocurrency donations with millions of followers. With Brave’s 8+ million user base, this will become one of the most positive and covered days in crypto history.
We are excited to be working again with The Giving Block, this time to promote the #BitcoinTuesday sponsorship as a part of our Brave for Good campaign for Giving Tuesday. By dedicating 100% of our ad inventory to ads from participating charities on Giving Tuesday, we aim to bring a new level of awareness, reach and support to the causes and lives of the people who benefit from their important work. We hope this will be the start of a new tradition for Giving Tuesday that we can carry on for years to come.

Why Donate Crypto?
Many people don’t realize this, but donating cryptocurrency directly to a nonprofit is actually much more tax efficient than donating in traditional ways. Because its classified as property, the donor does not have to pay capital gains tax on appreciated assets and can write it off on their taxes (for more details, see our latest post about this here).
In addition to popular cryptocurrency options available through The Giving Block, Brave’s Basic Attention Token and integrated tipping feature offer an additional option to contribute utility tokens with ease, directly within the browser.
More About Bitcoin Tuesday
Between now and December 3rd, expect to see updates on a weekly basis. Both from new sponsors as well as participating nonprofits. In mid-November, we’ll be launching our new Kickstarter-esque platform for crypto-friendly nonprofits. Visit bitcointuesday.org here

About The Giving Block
The Giving Block equips nonprofit with a cryptocurrency donations solution that accepts multiple cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Zcash and more), automatically converts crypto to cash, and generates tax receipts for donors.
We have also created the world’s largest aggregator (soon to be platform) of nonprofits accepting crypto, where many donors find our clients. We also provide education, human support and marketing so that your team can generate crypto revenue without the headaches.
For nonprofits who choose to go the extra mile, we advise on crypto fundraising strategies, and pair nonprofits up with partner crypto organizations, elevating fundraising and awareness outcomes. Ultimately, we help nonprofits build a cryptocurrency fundraising program, and a brand in the cryptocurrency industry.
